Whoever takes the picture, everyone gets it.
A camera and shared album for iPhone families. Make an album for the trip, the birthday or just the family, and the photos anyone adds land on everyone's iPhone, in full quality, and can save straight into their own Photos.

How it works
- Make an album and invite the family with a message. They tap the link and they're in.
- Take photos in Shutter, or add ones you already have. Shots wait in a tray until you pick the keepers.
- Everyone gets them, in full quality, on every member's iPhone. Turn on saving for the people whose photos you want, and theirs go into your Photos library as they arrive. No more "can you send me those?"
Made for
Trips
Everyone's photos from the week in one album, on a map of where you went, and a recap to send when you're home.
Grandparents
New baby photos arrive on their phone the moment you add them, without a group chat to scroll through.
Holidays and birthdays
Everyone at the table gets every photo from the day, whoever's phone took it.
The camera you know
The same photo quality as the Camera app: 24 MP with Deep Fusion and Smart HDR, 48 MP when you want it, Live Photos, Portrait, Cinematic, 4K HDR video, every lens, a timer, a grid and a level. It's on your Lock Screen and on Camera Control, so you never miss the moment, and it reads QR codes.
Private by design
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Shutter uses the iCloud account already on your iPhone; albums are invite-only and stored in the album creator's iCloud. There's no server of ours, and the developer never sees your photos. The App Store lists it as Data Not Collected.
Questions
Does everyone need an iPhone?
Yes: everyone in an album needs an iPhone with iOS 26 or later, signed in to iCloud.
Whose iCloud storage does it use?
The album creator's. If it's full, new photos wait until there's space.
How is this different from iCloud Shared Albums?
Shutter is a camera first: you shoot into the album and choose what to add. You choose whose photos save into your own Photos library, and from then on they do as they arrive. Albums come with a map, trip recaps and the family remote. More on the difference.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 5 albums. Shutter Unlimited ($0.99 a month in the US) lets you start and join as many as you like. Albums you're in are never taken away.
Can I leave or remove someone?
Anyone can leave an album. The person who made it can remove anyone and delete any photo.
